Take Over: Reetec Becomes Part of Robur Wind GmbH

Munich, Germany - Robur Wind GmbH further strengthens its portfolio in the wind energy sector and has taken over Reetec GmbH with effect from 01.07.2020. The location of Reetec GmbH in Bremen is to be retained.

Reetec is a highly specialized wind energy service provider for onshore and offshore since 1996 in the areas of maintenance services (O&M), major component replacement and repair, rotor blade and tower services, electrical and mechanical installation, electrical engineering, qualification and training. With its core competence in the field of aviation aid systems, Reetec GmbH adds an important component to the Robur Wind portfolio, says Reetec Managing Director Detlef Lindenau, especially with regard to the to the legally required on-demand night-time marking (German: BNK) conversion by summer 2021.

With the acquisition, the number of Robur employees increases to almost 1,000 colleagues in Europe, North and South America. Robur Wind provides its customers all services from inspection, maintenance, repairs and replacement of large components to optimization for the safe and economically successful operation of our customers’ wind turbines”, says René Psarski, Managing Director of Robur Wind. In addition to Reetec, the Robur Wind Group includes the companies Rosch, Ynfiniti, WKA, Robur Baltic and Robur Rodopi.
