Operational Management: Energy Consult Adds Two Polish Wind Farms To Its Portfolio

Cuxhaven, Husum / Germany - Energy Consult GmbH, based in Cuxhaven and Husum, has taken over the commercial and technical management of the two Polish wind farms "Krzecin" and "Kuslin" with a total rated power of about 60 megawatts (MW) including substation.

At the site of the "Krzecin" wind farm in northwestern Poland, 8 Nordex N117 wind turbines, each with 2.4 MW and a total rated output of 19.2 MW, will generate environmentally friendly wind power in the future. The wind farm is expected to be commissioned at the end of the year. The "Kuslin" wind farm in western Poland consists of 12 Vestas V126 wind turbines with a rated output of 3.3 MW each and a total capacity of 39.6 MW. Commissioning is scheduled for mid-2022.

In Poland alone, Energy Consult currently holds contracts for technical and commercial management as well as consulting contracts totaling 280 MW. The Polish subsidiary Energy Consult Polska Sp. z o.o. was only founded in 2021 and is based in Koszalin in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Energy Consult has been active in the wind energy sector as an operations manager for 30 years and today manages wind turbines with a rated output of more than 2,000 MW (2 GW) as well as 17 substations throughout Europe. In the meantime, the company acts as a life-cycle service provider and, in addition to technical and commercial operational management, provides further technical services and inspections, further operation concepts, PPA management, financial services as well as construction management and grid connection planning.
