Technical Guideline 10: Wind Consult Receives Accreditation For Determination Of Wind Energy Site Quality
Admannshagen-Bargeshagen, Germany - For operators of onshore wind turbines (WT) the site quality is an important parameter for the remuneration according to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
The determination of the site quality after commissioning has to be determined by DIN EN ISO IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratories according to the EEG. Prerequisite for the accreditation is the successful participation in the round robin test for determining the site quality, which is carried out by the FGW.
After successful participation in last year's round robin test of the FGW, the provider of measurement testing and planning services Wind Consult from Admannshagen-Bargeshagen near Rostock has also been officially accredited for this test area by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) since April 01, 2022 (certificate number: D-PL-11098-01-00).
At the heart of the calculations carried out by Wind Consult is a software application developed by the company, which successfully demonstrated the high quality standards in the FGW round robin test.
Wind Consult points out that additional payments or refunds are due if a deviation of more than 2 percent from the previously determined site quality is determined during the investigation of the site quality according to FGW procedures. It may therefore be necessary to establish provisions within the operating period. The company therefore recommends determining the site quality on a regular basis so that timely action can be taken if necessary.
