Eemshaven, Netherland - Siemens announces to build an offshore servicehub in Eemshaven. Cause has been the signing of a long-term agreement with EMO, respectively the Dutch subsidiary Ems Maritime Offshore Nederland B.V. , details being subject to non-disclosure, and thus providing the official start to expand the EMO Terminal for future operation and maintenance works (O&M).

Siemens will supply and install 150 wind turbine generators for the Dutch wind farm GEMINI. Already last year they also have been awarded with the O&M services for the next 15 years. In order to execute these works reliably, Siemens has been looking for a suitable site and made a find with EMO in Eemshaven.
