WindEnergy Hamburg: Wpd On Course For Stable Growth With Strong International Project Pipeline

Bremen, Germany - Wpd, project developer and operator of wind farms, is continuing on its solid growth path. As the Bremen-based company announced at the WindEnergy trade fair in Hamburg, the company is active in 31 countries in Germany and worldwide and has a strong project pipeline for wind farms with a capacity of over 19 GW (19,000 MW). Of this, 15,000 MW are in Europe and over 4,300 MW in Asia, North and South America.

According to Wpd, the political decisions in Germany in favour of a faster and more dynamic expansion of renewables are having an effect. Authorisations are being granted more quickly and more projects are being put out to tender. Wpd currently has 6,000 MW of projects in Germany in various stages of planning.

Wpd is correspondingly optimistic about the future. At the same time, Wpd is also constantly developing its own portfolio of wind farms thanks to the new dynamics in the market. According to Wpd, there are currently over 3,200 MW in the portfolio, a promising basis for the company's further development.
