Fuhrlander Plans To Build $39 Million Wind Turbine Plant In Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam - German turbine manufacturer Fuhrlander AG is planning to form a joint venture to build a $39 million plant to produce wind turbines in Binh Dinh province in central Vietnam, located about 500 kilometers north from Ho Chi Minh City.

The plant, which will be the first of its kind in Vietnam, is expected to start manufacturing wind turbines with a generation capacity ranging from 1.5 megawatts to 2.5 MW from mid-2009.
