Change in The Management Team: VSB Group Appoints Hartmut Lieder as CFO

Dresden, Germany - The project developer, planner and operator of wind and photovoltaic parks VSB has a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The successor to Marko Lieske, who is leaving the company, is the internationally experienced financial expert Hartmut Lieder. The businessman was appointed to the company's top three as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in October.

With Hartmut Lieder, the project developer's management team has been completely overhauled. In his function as CFO, Lieder is in charge of the Finance and Taxes, Controlling and Transactions departments. In close cooperation with the departments of purchasing, legal and IT, he is to continue to drive the dynamic growth of the VSB Group in terms of structure and processes.

The 53-year-old business graduate brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of accounting and financial management. Previously, he was commercial managing director of MEA Group GmbH as well as CFO of the Pergo group of companies, which belongs to the Pfleiderer Group.

"With Hartmut Lieder, we have hired an extremely committed, experienced and strong leader to our senior management team. Together, we will succeed in anchoring VSB as an independent power producer and as one of the leading European energy companies in the wind and PV sector. When, if not now, will the time be ripe for renewables to play the main role as the number one energy supplier in industry, commerce and private households?", says Frédéric Lanoë, CEO VSB Holding GmbH.

"I look forward to supporting the company and its employees with my experience, courage and passion for the cause. Together we want to translate the huge potential into action and form an organisation that can keep pace with the rapid growth", Lieder outlines the upcoming corporate agenda.
