15 MW Wind Turbines: Vestas Wins Major Order for Offshore Wind Farm in Poland
Aarhus, Denmark - Vestas has received a firm order for the delivery of its flagship V236-15.0 MW turbine. Vestas will deliver 76 offshore turbines with a capacity of 15 MW each for Baltic Power Sp. z o.o, a joint venture between Orlen S.A. and Northland Power Inc. for the Baltic Power Offshore Wind Project in Poland. The total capacity is 1,140 MW.

The project site is located 23 kilometres off the Polish Baltic coast near Łeba. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to start in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected in 2026.
