Spanish Wind Market: Nordex Secures Major Order in Spain

Hamburg, Germany - Nordex has received a major order for a 123.9 MW wind farm cluster in Spain. The customer is the renewable project developer Aquila Clean Energy.

From summer 2025, Nordex will be supplying and installing a total of 21 N163/5.X turbines for the Baza cluster in the southern Spanish province of Granada. The order also includes a service contract with a term of 20 years.

Both parties have agreed that Aquila Clean Energy has the option to expand the total number of turbines for this project by up to 24 additional turbines until 31 August 2024.

The Baza cluster spans eight sites between the cities of Granada and Almeria in Andalusia. The entire wind farm cluster is scheduled to be commissioned in the course of 2026.
