European Energy Transition in Focus: VSB Showcases Large-Scale PV Projects and Hybrid Solutions at Intersolar 2025

Dresden/Munich, Germany – At Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, the VSB Group will be presenting its latest developments in photovoltaics and hybrid energy systems. The company, which became part of the TotalEnergies Group in 2025, will highlight projects that integrate wind and solar power with battery storage.

Key projects span several European countries. In France, VSB recently commissioned the 9.2 MWp “Soleil de Balsac” PV park on a former industrial site, demonstrating the potential for repurposing disused land for renewable energy. In Germany, the 19.3 MWp Löberitz solar park is nearing the final stage of approval. Developed in partnership with the municipal utility Stadtwerke Bitterfeld-Wolfen, the project aims to diversify the local energy supply through regionally generated renewable power.

In Poland, VSB is developing one of the country’s largest combined PV and storage projects, with a planned capacity of around 300 MWp. In Finland, the company is planning a hybrid energy park that will combine wind, solar, and battery technologies. These integrated solutions are intended to improve energy reliability and optimise land use.

VSB operates across six European countries and employs over 500 staff. With a project pipeline of more than 18,000 MW (18 GW), the company has installed more than 750 wind and solar power installations since 1996. Visitors to Intersolar can find VSB in Hall A4, Stand 171.
