PNE AG: Annual General Meeting Approves Dividend and Special Dividend
Cuxhaven, Germany – The Annual General Meeting of PNE AG has approved the proposal of the Management Board and Supervisory Board regarding the appropriation of net profit by a large majority. Accordingly, for the 2024 financial year, a dividend of €0.04 per entitled no-par value share will be distributed, supplemented by a special dividend in the same amount.
Dirk Simons was elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board by a large majority and thereby confirmed in his court-appointed position by the District Court of Tostedt.
In addition, the shareholders approved the remuneration report and reappointed KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Bremen, as the auditor and group auditor for the 2025 financial year—again with a strong majority.
However, the proposal to create new authorized capital failed to achieve the required 75 percent approval threshold.
In his speech, CEO Heiko Wuttke expressed optimism: "We look back on a successful financial year 2024 and at the same time are optimistic about the future. The new German government does not currently indicate that it is putting the brakes on the expansion of renewable energies. The issue of security of supply with a focus on the scope of grid expansion will become more important. But we can also handle this well."
