Wind Market Germany: Nordex Wins Contract for Trianel Wind Farm in Schleswig-Holstein

Hamburg (Germany) - The Nordex Group has been commissioned by Trianel Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG - a consortium of 36 municipal utilities and the municipal utility cooperation Trianel - to construct the Tasdorf wind farm with a capacity of 45.6 megawatts in the district of Plön, Schleswig-Holstein.

Eight turbines of the N149/5.X type are planned, which will be installed starting in autumn 2026 in the municipalities of Bönebüttel, Großharrie, and Tasdorf. Commissioning is scheduled for spring 2027.

The wind farm project is being developed in cooperation with ABO Energy, which is supporting the planning and construction. Financing is being provided by Trianel together with Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB). A long-term service contract with Nordex for 20 years is planned for operations.

The wind farm is expected to generate approximately 110 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually - enough to supply more than 30,000 households. The turbines will be installed on steel tube towers with hub heights of 125 and 105 meters.

In yesterday’s trading, the Nordex share rose by 1.1 percent to €21.48 (closing price, August 28, 2025, Stuttgart Stock Exchange). Compared to the price at the beginning of the year, this represents a strong gain of 90 percent.
