Nordex 6 MW Class Particularly Successful: Nordex Group Surpasses 40-Gigawatt Mark with Delta4000 Turbines

Hamburg (Germany) - The Nordex Group has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 40 gigawatts of wind power capacity installed worldwide with its Delta4000 turbine series. According to Nordex, this represents 50 percent of the company's entire installed fleet sold over its 40-year history - achieved in just the last eight years since the launch of the Delta4000 platform with the N149/4.X in September 2017.

The Delta4000 series has become the backbone of Nordex’s turbine business, impressing with its high flexibility, performance, and adaptability to a wide range of wind conditions around the globe.

Particularly successful is the 6 MW class with the N175/6.X turbine, the latest addition to the Delta4000 family. It has already reached nearly 2,000 MW in sales volume, including in countries such as Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Latvia. The turbine is available in multiple power modes - including a 7.0 MW version - and offers various hub heights in Germany, ranging from 112 to 199 meters, including a new 162-meter variant using hybrid tower technologies.

All Delta4000 turbines feature optimized sound, performance, and load profiles tailored to site-specific conditions, ensuring high performance with minimal noise emissions.
