Nordex Share Hits New Year High: Nordex Secures 189 MW Order from OX2 for Fageråsen Wind Farm in Sweden

Hamburg (Germany) - The Nordex Group has received an order from Swedish developer OX2 for the supply and installation of the Fageråsen wind farm in the Dalarna region. The order includes 27 turbines of the N163/6.X type with a total capacity of 189 MW, which will be erected on 119-metre-high steel tubular towers.

The turbines will be delivered in the cold climate version and will be equipped with the “Advanced Anti-Icing System” to enable optimized power generation even under Sweden’s harsh winter conditions.

The wind farm is being developed southwest of Malung. Initial foundation work is scheduled for 2026, with turbine installation expected to begin in 2027. Commissioning is planned for early 2028. In addition to supplying and installing the turbines, Nordex will also provide comprehensive service for the wind farm with a production-based availability guarantee for up to 25 years.

Nordex emphasizes that the order further strengthens cooperation with OX2 in Northern Europe. “This new order provides a great opportunity to further foster the excellent relationship and strong cooperation between Nordex and OX2 in the Nordic region,” said Till Junge, Vice President Region Nordic of the Nordex Group.

Nordex shares reached a new year high of €35.16 this morning, but have since eased slightly. Currently, the stock is trading at €35.04, up 1% (12:34 p.m., 03.02.2026, Stuttgart Stock Exchange).
