Enevo Group and Green Arch Energy Target Romania as Growth Market for Renewable Energy
Bucharest, Romania – The Romanian renewable energy market is gaining increasing importance. At Intersolar Europe 2026, Italian company Enevo Group and UK-based Green Arch Energy have agreed on a strategic partnership to develop new solar, wind and battery storage projects. Together, the companies aim to expand renewable energy infrastructure in Romania and, in the longer term, in other European markets.
Complementary Expertise for Renewable Energy Projects
The partnership combines the complementary capabilities of both companies. Enevo Group operates as an integrated energy infrastructure company and supports projects across the entire value chain, from development and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) to asset management and energy marketing. The company contributes technical, commercial and operational expertise to the cooperation.
UK-based Green Arch Energy focuses on the development and operation of renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar, wind and energy storage technologies. The company contributes its project pipeline and its approach to long-term energy infrastructure projects to the partnership.
Expansion to Further European Markets Planned
Following the initial phase in Romania, the cooperation is planned to expand to additional European markets. The focus will be particularly on Italy and the United Kingdom. Both companies see further opportunities in these markets for the expansion of renewable energy projects and long-term solutions for clean power supply.
“This agreement reflects our ambition to create long-term value beyond development and construction. By combining our development, construction and market access capabilities, we can secure projects and accelerate their path to market readiness. In Green Arch, we have found a partner that shares our long-term vision of building resilient, future-ready energy assets where digitalisation and cybersecurity are integrated from the outset to ensure lasting performance and system security,” said Carmelo Bongiovanni, Managing Director of Enevo Group.
