Navaris Secures Onshore Wind Awards for All Submitted Projects Totalling 304.5 MW
Berlin – Wind energy project developer Navaris has won awards for eleven projects with a combined capacity of 304.5 MW in the latest onshore wind tender round. According to the company, all of its submitted bids were successful.
Navaris Plans 46 Wind Turbines – Project Pipeline Exceeds 3 GW
The eleven successful wind projects comprise a total of 46 wind turbines. Once commissioned, the turbines are expected to supply the equivalent of around 200,000 households with electricity, according to the company. The company's press release does not provide details on individual project locations or planned commissioning dates.
The announcement comes a few days after Qualitas Energy's German platform was renamed Navaris. Under the new brand, the company brings together the German teams, projects and expertise built up since 2018. Navaris currently manages a portfolio of around 1.3 GW of renewable energy assets in operation or under construction across Germany. In addition, projects with a total capacity of more than 3 GW are in advanced development. The company employs more than 200 people at six locations in Germany.
Wind Energy Tender: Strong Competition Pushes Award Prices Further Down
The onshore wind tender round of August 1, 2026, was again significantly oversubscribed. According to the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), 461 bids with a total volume of 5,250 MW were submitted against a tendered capacity of 2,520 MW. A total of 237 bids received an award.
The average volume-weighted award price fell from 5.06 euro cents per kWh in the previous round to 4.79 cents per kWh. As recently as February 2026, it had stood at 5.54 cents per kWh. The declining award prices reflect increasing price competition for the funding volumes tendered for onshore wind. The next tender round is scheduled for November 1, 2026.
